The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia said that non-vaccinated people are allowed to perform prayers in the Two Holy Mosques, stating that they are not infected or have contact with an infected person with Covid-19. Read : Kiswah - the black cloth of Holy Kaaba





This came in response from the official Twitter account of care for the beneficiaries of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, to a question from one of the user who asked about the necessity of taking 3rd dose of the Corona vaccine for reservations to perform Umrah.

The Ministry in response said that non-vaccinated people are allowed to pray in the Two Holy Mosques and the permits were issued from the Eatmarna application to perform Umrah, stating that they were not infected or had contact with an infected person with corona virus. - The Ministry further said, it is not required to submit a negative result of an approved PCR test or an approved Rapid Antigen Test for the corona virus before coming to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, provided that there is insurance to cover the costs of treatment from infection with the corona virus.





- The spokesperson of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Hisham Saeed confirmed that currently there are no restrictions or specific number for performing Umrah.

- During his interview on a program with Al-Ekhbariya channel, he said that the only limitation is currently the times and periods of times available on Eatmarna application, highlighting that everyone can book through the application. See Also : Saudi Arabia cancels Host Umrah scheme
