A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Bahraich district in Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday night, at the Bakshipura Power House railway crossing, a 25-year-old woman, Roshni Gupta, and her 5-year-old son, Divyansh Gupta, were tragically killed after being struck by a train. The accident occurred while the two were crossing the railway tracks and were suddenly hit by a train heading towards Gonda.

Details of the Incident

According to eyewitnesses, Roshni Gupta was crossing the railway track with her son Divyansh when a high-speed train bound for Gonda approached. The train driver attempted to apply the brakes, but it was too late. Both mother and child were killed instantly at the scene after being hit by the train.

Chaos at the Scene

Upon receiving information about the incident, GRP (Government Railway Police) and local police reached the spot. The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination. As news of the incident spread, a wave of mourning swept through the area, and a large number of people gathered at the site.

Family in Mourning

Roshni Gupta and Divyansh Gupta were residents of Bakshipura Nai Basti Chandmari. The tragic incident has plunged the entire family into deep sorrow. Local residents have demanded the railway administration to strengthen safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
